Quality occupational therapy for kids and the young at heart.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy is an allied health profession that focuses enabling engagement in the occupations (or activities) that people want to (leisure), need to (self-care), and have to do (productivity) in their daily lives.

For infants, toddlers, children and youth an occupational therapist will work with the child and caregivers to help determine what the issues or concerns are, and assess  their current level of skills. The OT, child and caregivers will collaboratively problem-solve and find practical solutions to address the concerns. Intervention for this age group is largely completed through play!
